Meet Lauren Kay
Professional Thinker and Question Creator.
Not my official title, but it fits.
Executive Advisor | B.H.H.S., HHP

I’ve always been curious.
As a child, I was usually lost in thought, and one question almost always led to another. Most people thought I was destined to become a lawyer. For a while, I thought they might be right.
Life took me in a different direction, but the questions never went away.
They simply grew up with me.
Over time, why? and how? became:
Those questions first helped me understand myself. Eventually, they became some of the same questions that shaped the way I work with others today.
- Why do I respond this way?
- Why does this keep showing up in my life?
- What am I not seeing?
- What is influencing me that I haven’t considered?
- What’s really going on beneath the surface?
Looking beneath the surface
My path to becoming an Executive Advisor wasn’t a straight line.
It began with my own search for answers and eventually led me into natural health, emotional and belief work, advanced muscle testing, and the study of how our experiences and beliefs can influence the way we think, respond, relate, decide, and move through the world.
What started personally became professional, and for years I worked with clients primarily around health, emotions, trauma, and underlying belief systems.

Then the conversations began to change.
Clients started bringing their businesses into the room:
- Decisions they couldn’t seem to make
- Leadership challenges
- Difficult relationships
- People problems
- New opportunities
- Questions about direction
- Moments when something looked right on paper but they couldn’t quite get settled about it
And I began to recognize something. The same things I had spent years looking for beneath the surface of health and personal patterns were showing up in leadership and business.
A belief doesn’t stay neatly contained in one area of your life.
Neither does fear. Or past experience. Or an assumption you’ve never thought to question.
They come with you into the boardroom.
That realization changed the direction of my work and ultimately led me to what I do today as an Executive Advisor to entrepreneurs and business leaders.

The road that brought me here
My approach has been shaped by both formal education and years of specialized training.
Education
I hold a Bachelor’s degree in Holistic Health Sciences (B.H.H.S.) and am a Board Certified Holistic Health Practitioner (HHP). I am currently continuing my education through graduate studies in Natural Medicine.
Professional certification
Certification in The Emotion Code, The Body Code, and The Belief Code, which provided a foundation for my work with emotions, beliefs, and advanced muscle testing.
God Talks
In February 2024, another important part of my journey began when I attended my first God Talks Wisdom for Business event in Arizona. That experience eventually led to being accepted as a private coaching client of Ed Rush and later becoming a God Talks Certified Coach.
Prophetic ministry and discernment
I have also trained with Prophetic Company and am a certified ACTIVATE Training Coach, with training in biblical prophetic ministry and discernment. I have a particular love for intercessory prayer and spiritual warfare.

On paper, these may look like very different areas of study. To me, they are all connected by the same curiosity that has followed me throughout my life:
Look beyond the obvious. Ask another question. Pay attention. Discern what is really happening.
Each new area of study has changed the way I see things and, more importantly, changed me. The more I learn, the more willing I am to question what I think I know, look at something from another perspective, and remain open to what I haven’t discovered yet.
I think I’ll always be a student. There will always be another question to ask, something new to learn, and another opportunity to grow.
A little more about me
Because life is about a lot more than work.
- Saved by grace through faith in Jesus
- Happily married to Bill Kay for 36 years
- Mama to four boys and three girls, including identical twins, and Nana to eight amazing grandchildren
- Texas born and raised, and still a Texan at heart
- I own an unreasonable number of books, and I’m building a library I hope my grandchildren’s grandchildren will someday enjoy
- Mushroom coffee and cold brew are practically a food group
- I’ve got my toes in the sand every chance I get. The beach is part of my rhythm; home is my favorite getaway
- Animal lover and lifelong Rottweiler fan. Three of mine have been rescues
- My brain relaxes by solving something: logic grids, sorting games, puzzles, or Mahjong
- Give me martial arts over yoga. Preferably Chun Kuk Do, Chuck Norris’s system of martial arts
- Crystal curator and educator, grounded in science

And I reserve the right to grow, learn, and change my mind.
Let’s start with a conversation.
Tell me a little about where you are and what you’re navigating, and we’ll decide together whether working together makes sense.
Answer a few questions, then choose a time to talk.
